SUNDAY: THE 7 a.m. SErvice

People who attend the 7 a.m. Sunday worship service appreciate the unique experience of early morning worship in an environment that is close-knit and intimate, yet open and welcoming as well. The service itself is a spoken, Rite II Holy Eucharist, preceded by a period for meditation and prayer. The service itself takes place in the chapel, which is one of the most beautiful places in the entire facility. The altar is backed by a stained-glass window which faces the Memorial Garden, which brings natural light into the worship space most of the day. The icon of the Trinity, located along one side of the chapel, provides a unique and inviting focus for meditation and prayer.

SUNDAY: 8:30 a.m. THe Table

Join us for our new intergenerational festive Eucharist with family-led liturgy, music and children's activity, followed by fellowship in Sacquety Hall.

The Table is a new worship offering at St. Wilfrid's—incorporating a mix of both the traditional and contemporary, centered around a family Eucharist. Music and a strong sense of encountering the Gospel lesson, together as a family, are important parts of this worship service. Childcare is provided in our nursery, and all are welcome!

SUNDAY: 10:30 a.m.

People who attend the 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship service enjoy a Rite II Holy Eucharist with a choir, organ, piano, and other instruments that add musical texture to our worship experience. The focus is on worship that ties the ancient to the contemporary, energized and relevant in its message. Childcare is available during the service. In addition, Sunday School is offered Sunday mornings from 9:30 a.m.–10:20 am, for children ages 3 through 5th grade. Based on the Montessori educational model, we use a program called Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, which teaches sacred stories through a hands-on approach. The service takes place in the main church, a space that is very contemporary in its design, but yet maintains an aura of spiritual presence.

The Wednesday Morning Eucharist, at 7 a.m. in the chapel,  is an opportunity to connect with God and others to be spiritually nourished mid-week.

A welcoming time of worship, the service begins with a thoughtful exploration of Holy Scripture, moves into a meaningful time of prayers of intercession for God's people, and concludes with an intimate sharing of Holy Communion around the altar.
