Beginning Sunday, August 31st, we invite you to join us for a week of peaceful, prayerful endings to the day with our Compline Services, led by Fr. Nathan and streamed live on our Facebook page each night. The service will begin at 8:00pm, but the live stream will open a few minutes earlier for informal conversation and connection. Compline, from the Latin word meaning “completion,” is the final service of the Daily Office in the Book of Common Prayer. Traditionally prayed before bedtime, it offers a quiet, reflective way to close the day, placing ourselves and the world into God’s hands for the night. The liturgy is simple and beautiful—scripture, prayers, and moments of stillness—reminding us that God’s presence surrounds us even as we rest. Our online format will be interactive, with Fr. Nathan engaging with comments and prayer requests in real time. This is a wonderful opportunity to bring the peace of Compline into your home, wherever you are, and to join with our parish family in worship and fellowship. Whether you are familiar with Compline or experiencing it for the first time, we hope you’ll join us for this week-long offering and discover the deep calm and comfort it brings.
